Myers Briggs P vs J

It’s day 5 of our road trip in the US of A. Despite never having wanted to blog before, the morning I awoke in San Fransisco (at some ludicrously early hour due to jet lag) I decided I wanted to do this mainly so you who are reading it can be updated and get some of the details, which no doubt will be forgotten by the time we’re home and..well that’s the only reason really…

I reckon myself and the Tonester will contribute to this so you’ll get both a newsy account from me and a more ‘touchy feely’ account from him.

We booked a hotel for the first 2 nights in San Fran but the rest of the trip we decided to ‘laisser faire’. We’re having a fab time and as predicted our Myers Briggs personality types are featuring strongly in most aspects of our decision making. I wake up with the planner in me asking a multitude of questions…”What’s the plan for today? Where shall we eat breakfast? What time do we set off? Where will we stay tonight? Will we need internet connection?” Anthony’s only question for the morning is “Why is Claire awake at this unearthly hour?” This theme continues for the rest of the day usually resulting in a compromise of something like “Can you tell me what time we’ll be leaving?” “Yes, 5.30, now let me read, uninterupted for the next hour”.

It’s good to work through our differences and hopefully I’m not too annally controlling to make him drive off into the sunset without me.
